Scholarships at EKU

EKU is closely monitoring the developments surrounding the COVID-19 virus in the world, the nation and Kentucky. University leadership is meeting regularly to develop responses to a rapidly changing situation. Our highest priority is to protect the well-being of our students, faculty, staff and the community. For that reason, EKU is enacting several measures to help mitigate the likelihood of transmission and the spread of the virus. Please visit https://go.eku.edu/covid19 to get the latest information from EKU. This website will be continually updated.

The Office of Student Financial Assistance and Scholarships has enacted measures to continue to serve our students. Although in-person traffic is closed through March 29th, students can reach a financial aid representative via phone Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm by calling 859-622-2361. We can also be reached via email at finaid@eku.edu.  Thank you!

In light of the recent COVID-19 virus and the subsequent disruption to all of our normal activities, EKU has decided to extend our merit scholarship deadline. Our current deadline has been moved from May 1st to July 1st.  We want to give students and their family’s flexibility to complete all of the necessary higher education paperwork while still managing their educational responsibilities at home.
